Parish Council has the responsibility for the well-being of the local community
Our work falls into three main categories:
A Parish Council is made up of a number of Councillors from Swilland and Witnesham, who meet regularly to discuss issues and make decisions on the work and direction of the council.
Attending a council meeting is the best way to see what we do. You will find details of when and where we hold meetings on this site.
As elected bodies of your Parish Council we are here to represent the villages, so it is important to hear the views of residents. We encourage you to contact any of us directly with any issues or questions you may have, although the main way to contact us is via the Parish Clerk. You can find out a little more about our Councillors on our dedicated page for Councillors.
Typical areas that we discuss are:
1. At the Moon and Mushroom Public House
2. At the car park where the bottle bank is as you walk down to Hall Lane and Mill Lane.
